Steps to Use a single screw floating fish extruder machine

Thorough Equipment Cleaning: Ensure no residue or damage during operation. First, turn off the power and wait for the single screw fish feed processing machine to cool to below 50℃ to avoid burns. Step 1: Clean the feeding system. Empty any remaining material from the feed hopper and wipe the feed inlet and vibrating feeder with a soft cloth to ensure no material residue remains. Step 2: Disassemble the die head. Use a special cleaning needle to clear any residual material from the die head orifice. Clean the die head surface and sealing surface with a soft nylon brush. Never use steel wool, screwdrivers, or other sharp tools to scrape, as this may damage the die head orifice and sealing surface, affecting subsequent sealing performance. Step 3: Disassemble the screw. Soak it in warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften any residual material on the extrusion chamber and screw. Then gently brush the screw groove and the inner wall of the extrusion chamber with a nylon brush to ensure no residue adheres. Step 4: Clean the cutting device. Remove any material residue from the blades and check their sharpness. After cleaning all parts, rinse thoroughly with clean water, dry, and reassemble, or apply food-grade rust-preventive oil and store properly.

Core Component Inspection: Timely detection of wear and potential malfunctions. After cleaning, conduct a comprehensive inspection of key components: The screw of the single screw floating fish feed extruder machine must be free of wear and deformation. If the screw thread wear exceeds 2mm or is deformed, it must be replaced immediately, otherwise it will affect the extrusion pressure and expansion effect; the wear-resistant bushing on the inner wall of the extrusion chamber must be smooth and free of scratches. If wear is found, the bushing must be replaced; the die head orifice diameter must be free of deformation, and the sealing surface must be intact. If the sealing surface is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced immediately; the drive belt must be free of cracks and have appropriate tension. If the belt is aged, it must be replaced; if the tension is insufficient, it must be adjusted; the motor bearings and screw bearings must be free of looseness and abnormal noise, and rotate flexibly. For example, if slight wear is found on the screw thread, food-grade high-temperature lubricating oil can be applied to reduce friction damage during the next operation; if there are scratches on the die head sealing surface, they can be gently sanded and repaired with fine sandpaper.

Regular Maintenance: Extending the service life of the equipment. A targeted maintenance plan should be developed based on the operating time of the single screw floating fish feed machine: Every 500 hours of operation, the lubricating oil in the drive motor, screw bearings, and other transmission components should be changed to ensure smooth transmission; every 1000 hours of operation, the wear-resistant bushing of the extrusion chamber should be replaced; every 2000 hours of operation, the screw should be replaced. When the equipment is idle for an extended period, the interior should be thoroughly cleaned, and a layer of food-grade anti-rust oil should be applied to the surfaces of metal components such as the screw and extrusion chamber to prevent corrosion. The equipment should also be covered with a dust cover to prevent dust from entering. In addition, pressure and temperature monitoring instruments should be calibrated regularly to ensure accurate data; electrical wiring should be inspected to prevent short circuits caused by aging wiring. For example, before shutdown during the Spring Festival holiday, a comprehensive cleaning and maintenance should be completed, and anti-rust oil should be applied to ensure normal restart operation after the holiday.
